Hostel and Facilities:
The University of Visayas provides separate hostel facilities for boys and
girls. The hostels are well equipped with A/C, Study Table, Kitchen utility
items and cots with mattresses.
The University maintains licensed security guards and a security force
composed of B.S. in Criminology students to ensure maximum student,
faculty and employee safety and security.
For security purposes, students are requested to show their ID cards upon
entering the school premises. Students are also requested to cooperate
with the guards when an inspection of their bags or other materials is
requested. Visitors are required to wear a visitor's ID while inside the
University premises

The City of Mandaue is a 1st class city in the province of Cebu, Philippines.
It is one of the three highly urbanized cities in the Province of Cebu and form
the core of the Metropolitan Cebu area.
Mandaue is a modern metropolis with incredible energy, extraordinary
entrepreneurs, and enterprising and talented people. About 40 percent of
Cebu’s export companies are found in Mandaue.
Now Mandaue is emerged as an industrial city. Mandaue became a chartered
city on June 21, 1969 through Republic Act 5519. It was considered a highly-
urbanized city in the year 1991.
Based on the August 2007 census, Mandaue City has a total population of
